The over 120-year-old main building and even older surrounding buildings bring out memories of old-timey Saarijärvi. Our rooms are on the second floor of the main building and around the vicarage yard. The accommodations include a hearty breakfast and lakeside views enjoyable from morning until night.

The Ruustinna area is part of a national cultural environment. We are within walking distance of the city centre across the beautiful Palvasalmi bridge. There is a traditional and atmospheric beach sauna by the shore. You can go on a boat or kayaking trip on the Saarijärvi or Pieni Lumperoinen lakes.

The rich and varied lunch buffet at Ruustinna includes fresh salads, house bread and spread, main courses, soup, and something sweet with your coffee. We respect tradition, but also introduce something new to a familiar meal, prioritising cleanliness and Finnish ingredients. We have an alcohol licence.  The Ruustinna has two large halls and two pleasant summer terraces. 

Our catering service makes delicacies at our own confectionery, delivered to your home or celebration. You can also reserve Ruustinna as a celebration destination. You can spend the night at Ruustinna and its surrounding buildings, and our beach sauna is available for rent as agreed.
