Waddle into our full-service pet store! We house a wide selection of pet foods and supplies, aquarium fish, horse supplies, and various treatment services including trimming and nail cutting.
Our selection includes beautiful domestic handicrafts such as animal-themed jewellery, welcome-signs, and soap. Fresh water available for dogs in the summer at the Æsa Bar on the Ilolantie side. All pets are welcome!

The recycling centre is Saarijärvi’s very own circulation centre for all kinds of stuff. We have what you’ll need at home, at the summer cabin, and for your wardrobe; our selection includes clothes, shoes, home textiles, dishes, sport equipment, children’s things, furniture, and small appliances. The centre also makes shop products by hand with recycled materials.
We accept clean and intact donated items. Donate your unnecessary things and we’ll give them a second chance!

The Palsanpuro Paja workshop makes Finnish handicraft jewellery, knives, tools, and decorative and usable items according to your wishes.
The workshop and store located at Saarijärvi’s Lannevesi are open whenever the smith Iivari Pääkkönen is there.

The crafts centre Taitokeskus Saarijärvi is a meeting place for all kinds of handicrafts!
We have a Taito Shop store, a materials shop, an attic gallery, weaving, and a handicrafts school. Various shorter crafts courses are also arranged in addition to the school. The attic gallery houses various exhibits throughout the year. The Taito Shop sells local and domestic products like candles, sweets, jewellery, and home textiles.
The centre is located in the centre of Saarijärvi on the Palaavasalmi shore by the church. The building and its surroundings have cultural historical significance with many old structures around.

Products from curly birch and other domestic wood species from Saarijärvi. Wilawood manufactures gift and utility items from local curly birch as well as e.g. domestic rowan, grey alder and flame birch. The product range includes jewelry, various serving trays and cutting boards, as well as vases combining curly birch and mouthblown glass.
